Privacy policy

If you visit these pages as a non-registered user, a few little things of you will be stored anyway. In the following I will try to explain these things in as good "normal German" as possible, because the DSGVO requires me to do so. For the duration of your visit, the IP address is processed by the web server. In the error log, incorrect login attempts, access attempts, etc. are logged to be able to correct these errors. Visitors who do not create an account are unknown to us.

Location of data processing

These pages are hosted in the EU, more specifically by Webgo, which operates its data center in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. I have concluded a contract with Webgo for commissioned data processing. Which technical organizational measures Webgo takes to protect the data and the data center can be read on the pages of Webgo.

Cookies are used on these pages. These are small text files that are stored in order to improve your experience on our pages. The cookies from the store are only necessary cookies. The following cookies are stored:

Your opt-in or opt-out in the cookie banner. This cookie is stored for 30 days. This means that the banner will only be displayed once within this period.
A total of six session cookies, which are deleted when you exit the browser session. These ensure, for example, that the shopping cart is retained when surfing through the categories and the store runs faster for you, because we can build a cache for you.
A cookie for your time zone. This cookie is stored for 10 days.

Legal basis for the processing of visitor data

The legal basis for the processing of visitor data is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) DSGVO, that is, a so-called data processing based on a balance of interests.
Our interest is the secure and functional operation of this website. Your data will be processed by us only to a very limited extent. In part, I also need the data to ensure the confidentiality, availability and integrity of data, which I must guarantee according to Art. 32 DSGVO.
Regarding your data subject rights, you can find out more below in the privacy notices. As I wrote before, we know nothing about you as long as you only visit our site. If you still submit a request for information, we will do our best to find something about it.

Customer account

In the context of order fulfillment, the processing of personal data is unfortunately unavoidable. If third parties are used for this purpose, an agreement on order data processing has been concluded with them. The information you provide will be stored for the duration of the relationship. With regard to the required mandatory information, I refer to my terms and conditions, from which the relevant information can be obtained. Of course you can also order something without creating a customer account. Nevertheless, I will have to store your name and address, as well as all other information, for the processing of the order and keep according to the legal requirements.
In your user account, the orders you have placed will be stored.
If you create a user account, you will also be sent so-called transaction emails from Our website. This can be, for example, an order confirmation. Transactional mails are sent directly from Our hoster. No other service provider is used for this. If you want to delete your customer account, you can always contact me. Please note, however, that the legal obligations to keep records may partly prevent a deletion (e.g. according to HGB and AO). Of course you can also delete your customer account yourself.

Dispatch processing

For the fulfillment of the contract according to Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. b DSGVO, we will, if necessary, pass on your data to the shipping company commissioned with the delivery.

Payment processing

Depending on which payment service provider you select in the ordering process, we will pass on the payment data to the credit institution commissioned with the payment and / or to payment service providers commissioned by us or to the payment service selected by you for payment processing. In some cases, the selected payment service providers also collect this data themselves, for example, if you have created an account there. In this case, you must log in to the payment service provider with your access data during the ordering process. In this case, the privacy policy of the respective payment service provider applies.

You can pay in our online store via PayPal. Provider of this payment service is PayPal (Europe) S.à.r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., 22-24 Boulevard Royal, L-2449 Luxembourg (hereinafter "PayPal"). If you select PayPal for payment, the data will be transmitted to PayPal. The transmission to PayPal is based on Art. 6 (1) a DSGVO (consent) and Art. 6 (1) b DSGVO (processing for the performance of a contract). You have the option to revoke your consent to data processing at any time. A revocation does not affect the validity of past data processing operations.
Web analytics service
I would like to design the website to be the perfect store for you, that is my legitimate interest. To be able to do that, I need to know what you do on my pages. For this purpose I use the web analysis tool Matomo. I host Matomo myself in the above mentioned data center, so your data will not be sent to America. The IP is of course anonymized (2 bytes) and I do not identify individual visitors after login.
I have set Matomo to force tracking without a cookie. After 180 days the raw data is deleted and only aggregated metrics are stored.

Web analytics service

I would like to design the website to be the perfect store for you. This is my legitimate interest. To do this, I need to know what you do on my pages. For this I use a web analysis tool called Matomo. I host Matomo myself in the above mentioned RZ, so your data will not be sent to America. The IP is of course anonymized (2 bytes) and I do not identify individual visitors after login.
I have set Matomo to force tracking without a cookie. After 180 days the raw data is deleted and only aggregated metrics are stored. You can configure your settings in the banner on the start page so that tracking with Matomo does not take place. To do so, simply uncheck the corresponding box.
If you use a Google or Bing search, then I have linked Matomo to Google Search in such a way that Google tells me the search terms that were used.
Google Analytics and Retargeting
Unfortunately, I have not found a way to retarget using Matomo. Therefore, I have concluded a data processing contract with Google Inc. and use Google Analytics in addition to the test. My current intention is to test retargeting and see if significant results can be achieved. If it does not, I will delete Google Analytics and all data collected in the meantime in February 2022.
So at the moment this website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. ("Google"). With the help of cookies, i.e. text files that are stored on the end device, Google is enabled to analyse the use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of our website will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States.
If you activate IP anonymisation on our website, Google will only truncate the IP address beforehand within the member states of the EU or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. However, it is also possible that the full IP address is transmitted to a Google server in the USA and then shortened there. Google can then evaluate the use of the website on the basis of the stored information and provide a report on this. On the basis of this report, Google can then also provide further services to the website provider in connection with the use of the website and the Internet. The IP address transmitted by your browser via Google Analytics will not be merged with any other data held by Google.
In order to do a little retargetting, I have to tell google what products you've been looking at. Otherwise retargetting wouldn't be possible. Google will save this data for no more then 2 months'. If you do not want us to evaluate your visit to our website, you can prevent the storage or installation of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser. Of course, it may then be that the site does not function as usual.
By using this website, you consent to the processing of data about you by Google in the manner and for the purposes set out above. By the way, there is a browser plugin with which you can prohibit all websites (not only this one) from sending data to Google. You can download and install this tool here:
Why all this? What is my legitimate interest? Well - as a small company, my advertising budget is very small. I don't want to "pour out" any amount of budget to random people, but want the little money I spend on advertising to be used to find exactly the right people and provide them with the right advertising for them. This is only possible if I use techniques like retargeting.

Facebook Pixel

Facebook Pixel is currently not active. However, I might activate it again in the future and therefore wanted to keep this text. In case you are using a Website analysis Plugin, it will tell you Facebook Pixel is still there. This is due to the fact I only deactived the Plugin and did not deinstall it.

I also use the pixel of Facebook Ireland Limited (website custom audience pixel). Through this pixel, information about the use of this website (e.g. information about viewed articles) is collected by me and Facebook Ireland Limited in joint responsibility and transmitted to Facebook Ireland Ltd. This information can be assigned to you with the help of other information that Facebook Ireland Limited has stored about you, for example, due to your ownership of an account on the social network "Facebook". Based on the information collected via the pixel, you can be shown interest-based advertisements on the Facebook social network. Facebook Ireland Ltd may also aggregate the data and use it for its own advertising purposes as well as for advertising purposes of third parties. For example, certain interests may be inferred from your browsing behavior on this website and this information may also be used to promote third-party offers. Facebook Ireland Limited may also combine the data obtained via the pixel with other information that Facebook Ireland Ltd has collected about you via other websites and / or in connection with the use of the social network "Facebook". Facebook Ireland Ltd is thus enabled to store a profile about you. This profile can be used for advertising purposes. Facebook Ireland Limited is solely responsible for the permanent storage and the further processing of the tracking data just described.

We have not activated automatic advanced matching as part of the Facebook Pixel function. This feature of the pixel would otherwise allow us to send hashed emails, name, gender, city, state, zip code and date of birth or phone number as additional information to Facebook if you have provided us with this data. However, this would only happen with your consent. Advanced Matching would make it possible to match advertising campaigns on Facebook even more precisely to people who are interested in our services or products. As mentioned, we do not use this function.

The legal basis for this data processing is Article 6(1)(a) DSGVO.

You can find more information about data protection at Facebook Ireland Limited at Here you will also find the possibility of asserting your data subject rights (e.g. right to deletion) against Facebook Ireland Limited. You can configure your consent at any time in the cookie banner.

Contact form

If you contact us via contact form, all information from the form including the contact details you provide there will be stored in order to process the request or follow-up questions. This data will not be passed on without your consent. The processing is therefore based exclusively on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO). You can of course revoke this consent at any time (e.g. by email). The legality of the data processing operations carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.
We store the data you provide until you request us to delete it, revoke your consent to store it, or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (e.g. after your request has been processed). Mandatory legal provisions - in particular retention periods - remain unaffected.

When you subscribe to our newsletter, your email address will be used for our own promotional purposes until you unsubscribe. This is usually information on current topics or special events and promotions. The e-mails may be slightly personalized and / or individualized based on the information about you.
For the registration to the newsletter a double opt-in procedure is used. This means that you first inform us of your interest in the newsletter by submitting your e-mail address and we then send you an e-mail in which you confirm your interest again. Only then will we send you our newsletter. Of course, each e-mail also contains a link with which you can unsubscribe immediately. Legal basis for the processing of data in this context is thus your is your consent according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a) DSGVO.
For my newsletter, I use the EU service provider MailerLite, a company from Lithuania that uses data centers in Germany. I send transactional mails from my own server. For emails sent via MailerLite's servers, open and click-through rates are automatically recorded. This cannot be disabled on MailerLite and is part of the service. The logging is there to constantly control the reputation of MailerLite's IP addresses. Only with a good reputation you can send emails in large masses, otherwise you are considered a spammer and the emails are blocked.
